This Refund Policy explains how BrowserFTP handles payments, cancellations, and refund requests for paid plans, upgrades, or future premium features.

1. Operator

BrowserFTP is operated by Authentic Software. References to “BrowserFTP,” “we,” “our,” and “us” include Authentic Software where applicable.

2. General policy

If BrowserFTP offers paid plans, subscriptions, or upgrades, all charges are generally considered final once access has been granted, except where refunds are required by law or approved at our discretion.

3. When a refund may be considered

We may review refund requests in situations such as:

• accidental duplicate charges;
• a billing error caused by our system;
• a charge made after a valid cancellation request that should have been processed earlier;
• a verified technical issue that prevented access to a paid feature for a meaningful period and could not be reasonably resolved.

4. When refunds are usually not provided

Refunds are generally not provided for:

• partial use of a billing period;
• change of mind after purchase;
• failure to cancel before renewal;
• issues caused by user environment, browser setup, local machine restrictions, third-party hosting, remote server configuration, or external network problems;
• misuse of the platform or violations of our Terms of Use.

5. Subscriptions and cancellation

If BrowserFTP offers recurring plans, you may cancel future renewals at any time before the next billing cycle. Cancellation will normally stop future charges, but does not automatically create a refund for past charges unless otherwise required or approved.

6. Free plans and upgrades

Free access, trial access, or promotional access does not create refund eligibility. If you later upgrade to a paid plan, the refund terms in this policy apply to that paid purchase.

7. Requesting a refund

To request a refund review, please contact us through the BrowserFTP contact form and include enough information to help us locate the payment and review the issue.

Please include:
• the email used for your account;
• the payment date;
• the amount charged;
• the reason for the request;
• any relevant screenshots or error details if applicable.

8. Review process

Refund requests are reviewed case by case. If approved, refunds may take additional time to appear depending on the payment provider, card issuer, or banking system.

9. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first through the BrowserFTP contact form so we have a chance to review and resolve the issue before a payment dispute is escalated.
